Interested in Joining Us?
If you are interested in joining one of our training events, please reach out to our membership director to find a training event that works for you. Our Membership Director can provide information about the start time and location for the workouts listed below.
 
Potential new WWMS team members who wish to participate in training events are required to bring a filled out and signed waiver. Reach out to membership with any questions! We’d love to meet you at an upcoming workout!
 
 
In-Season Training Events (typically March through September)

Tuesday Hills - Test your legs on the climbs of Arlington Heights. Optional coffee hangout after!

Tuesday Training Tri - Hosted in the early evening at a private lakefront property on Mystic Lake where you can swim, bike, run, and practice transitions with your gear secure. 

Wednesday Track - Join us at Tufts Track for dynamic warm ups and intervals training. 

Friday Morning Swims at Walden Pond - Start your morning with a beautiful open water swim. Swim buoy required
 
Weekend Adventures - Members will receive team email updates and get access to our training spreadsheet for spontaneous Saturday and Sunday rides, runs, and bike/run bricks organized throughout the week.

Winter Training Events
MIT Pool Swims
A group of teammates gather on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the MIT pool (membership required). Workouts can be provided, or simply motivation partners.

Sunday Runday
Every Sunday the team gets together for a long(ish) run (typically 3-6 mi.) through Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, or nearby areas. Often the run ends at a local coffee shop for a mini-social event.
